Since established in 1978, our company has been designing, developing, manufacturing and marketing industrial DC power supplies applying high frequency switching regulators, high accuracy and high voltage DC power supplies , DC-DC converters, analog/digital hybrid ICs, and MPU application products.
Further, in order to accommodate the needs for electronic devices which have been downsized and diversified in recent years, we will keep proposing new solutions with the keywords of wireless power supply, high efficient LLC circuit, DC power supply system, remote supervision as well as semi-custom and full-digital power supply.
History
Bellnix Co. Ltd. was established for the purpose of designing and developing minicomputer application products.
Started to manufacture switching regulators.
Began to design and manufacture high voltage power supply units for High Energy Accelerator Research Organization under the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
Launched manufacturing of ultra-compact (the world's smallest) DC-DC converters after succeeding in its research and development.
Applied for a patent for the TCT method and developed and launched the BY series, the world's smallest DC-DC converter.
Delivered a high voltage distributor to the European Organization for Nuclear Research via the University of Tokyo.
Initiated the mass marketing of the world's first programmable high voltage power supply unit with a built-in minicomputer after achieving its development.
Succeeded in the world's first device integration of high voltage power supply units and began to market it as MHV series.
Started to sell ultra-low noise AC-DC switching power supply units
Started to sell super-fast POL converters as BSV series.
Obtained ISO9001and ISO14001 certifications.
BSV series were recommended by the world-renowned PLD manufacturers, Altera Corporation and Xilinx, Inc.
Concluded a mutual OEM agreement with XP POWER in UK.
Achieved the development of a super-fast digital POL converter
High-speed digital POL was introduced in the U.S. EDN magazine.
Our power supply unit was adopted as a component for Boeing B-787.
Entered into a mutual OEM agreement with the RECOM Power GmbH office in Austria.
Awarded the prize of "300 Small and Medium Lively Manufacturing Enterprises in 2008" by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry.
Certified as a Technical Brand Corporation in Saitama City by the Mayor of Saitama City.
Our super-fast POL converter, BSV-nano, received Grand Prix in 2010 EDN Innovation Award (Power Supplies Category).
Launched "Lucina", an electric bicycle that keeps children safe.
Our company was broadcasted on NHK World (BS) to 130 countries.
Announced the world's first electric bicycle employing wireless power transfer.
Succeeded in the world's first proving experiment of an electric bicycle employing wireless power transfer.
Successful in the world's first field experiment of an electric bicycle employing wireless power transfer.
Founded Bellsharing Co., Ltd. to develop a bicycle sharing business.
Certified as a Saitama City Leading Edge Company.
Started sales of BDX series of DC-DC converters for full digital, high current, and ultra-high speed response.
Announced "POWER SPOT TM", a new brand using wireless power transfer, at the 2nd International Furniture & Interior Expo Summer.
Based on the technology cultivated in power supplies, BELLDESIGN Inc. was established as an in-house venture to create new businesses.
Started selling the BUD series of buck-boost type DC-DC converters with wide input/output and positive/negative outputs.
Started sales of low noise, 6-sided shielded 30W isolated DC-DC converters, BTI and BTJ series.
With the cooperation of NEDO and Saitama Prefecture, a proving experiment of outdoor charging spots was conducted.
Received the Commissioner of the Japan Patent Office's Commendation for Meritorious Service to Intellectual Property Award for the first time.
Selected as TOP FPGA SOLUTIONS PROVIDER IN APAC 2022.
BELLDESIGN Inc., an in-house venture, begins sales of POWER SPOT HOME and POWER SPOT MUG.
Our Chairman, Mr. Shotaro Suzuki, was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Silver Rays in the 2023 Autumn Conferment of Decoration.
